The XX Series is one of dozens of series produced by Noel Bloom and distributed by Noel and Mickey Zaffarano. Series often mixed imported Danish loops (from Color Climax) and the occasional East Coast loop with, by and large, loops shot on sets (containing the same set decorations) at Hal Guthu’s studio on Santa Monica Blvd. The same sets as Ed Wood’s last two known features were shot on, Necromania and The Young Marrieds. The painting here above the bed, and the nightstands and lamps, are all on set in The Young Marrieds.
